Day 1 - Hobart to Strahan
Departing Hobart, spend the entire day exploring the west coast of Tasmania through guided walks and amazing scenery See Russell Falls in Mount Field National Park and the iconic landscapes of Cradle Mountain / Lake St Clair National Park. Venture into the woodlands and mountains of Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park before stopping in Queenstown for some unique history and culture.

Day 2 - More west coast highlights
Today you have the option to choose your adventure on Tassie's west coast. Join an epic walk through the rainforests towards the Henty Sand Dunes, or pay a bit extra for the Gordon River Cruise through Macquarie Harbour, Sarah Island, and the Huon pines World Heritage Area. After your day adventure, unwind by the sea at Ocean Beach.
Overnight: Strahan
Day 3 - Cradle Mountain to Launceston
Venture deeper into Tasmania's remote wilderness with an incredible hike up Cradle Mountain. Explore the rugged alpine peaks and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife! Then journey to Sheffield, the Town of Murals, before arriving in Launceston for a relaxing night.

Day 4 - Launceston to Bicheno
It's time to check out more coastal wonders of Tasmania! First, check out the pristine nature in Cataract Gorge near Launceston. Stop for lunch in the charming town of St. Helens, then visit Larapuna/Bay of Fires. Learn about its deep cultural significance to the Palawa/Tasmanian Aboriginal people and stroll on the soft sands while soaking in the unique rock formations and turquoise waters. Finish the day in Bicheno, a coastal town that is home to the little penguin.

Day 5 - Freycinet National Park to Hobart
On your final day of the tour, feast your eyes on the iconic scenery of Freycinet National Park. Embark on a hike to the magnificent Wineglass Bay Lookout, or tackle the more ambitious cilmb up Mt. Amos for sweeping views of the Freycinet Peninsula. You can also opt to just relax in the gorgeous Honeymoon Bay. Stop at one last viewpoint at the Cape Tourville Lighthouse, then drive back along the Great Eastern Drive to Nipaluna/Hobart where the tour of Tasmania concludes.

What level of fitness is required for this trip?
A moderate level of fitness is recommended to get the most out of this experience, however all walks are optional.
This trip features many of the "60 Great Short Walks" of Tassie. Suitable to wide variety of abilities, there is often a choice to choose between easier and more difficult walk options. Some walks are guided, and others are unguided. In short, guests can make this itinerary as active or as easy as you like; all walks are optional and range from 20 minutes up to 4 hours.

Yes, accommodation is included in your trip price. Please select your preferred hostel or motel option at checkout.
What is the hostel accommodation like?
The hostel option feature shared-dorm style accommodation with same-gender dormitory rooms and bathrooms. You're required to bring your own toiletries and towels. Hostel Twin/Double and Single rooms have shared same-gender bathrooms as well.

What is the motel accommodation like?
The motel option features private rooms with ensuite facilities in comfortable, central motels.
