Day 1 - Perth, Wildlife encounters & farm stay
Depart Perth and head north to Greenough Wildlife Sanctuary. Here you can support conservation and animal rescue efforts, get close to dingos, emus, orphaned kangaroo joeys, saltwater crocodiles, and handle lizards and snakes. After your visit, depart for Geraldton, the second-largest city in Western Australia, where you will check out the memorial lookout and learn about the area's history from your guide. Continue onto the final leg of your journey to Northbrook Farmstay for an overnight stay at a scenic, tranquil property.

Day 2 - Journey to Exmouth
Today you will embark on the long drive to Exmouth! Australia is a vast, huge country, so relax in your comfy vehicle and take in the scenery.. Departing from the farm,venture through the expansive bushland and cattle stations of the Gascoyne region, renowned for its red soil, tropical fruits, and abundant mineral deposits.

Distance covered - approximately 9 hours of driving (750 km)
Day 3 - Exmouth, Ningaloo Reef & lighthouse walk
Choose your own adventure today, with optional snorkelling or scuba diving at your own expense (seasonal) at Ningaloo Reef. Keep your eyes peeled for whale sharks and manta rays here if you’re lucky enough to swim alongside these majestic creatures! Alternatively, you can join an optional boat tour, visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, or relax on the pristine Turquoise Bay beach. Then, explore the stunning Cape Range National Park. In the afternoon, take a short trip to the picturesque Coral Bay before settling in for the night in this charming destination!

Distance covered - 3.5-hour drive (300 km), approximately 2 km of walking
Day 4 - Coral Bay & Ningaloo Reef activities
Enjoy a relaxing day at your own pace in paradise! If you missed snorkelling yesterday, you have another chance today (or dive back in for a second snorkel if you wish!). Ningaloo Reef, one of the world's largest fringing reefs, begins right at the shore, so run straight into the crystal clear water. Swim out and find yourself surrounded by coral, fish, turtles, and manta rays. Swimming with these magnificent creatures is unforgettable. Not into swimming? Opt for a glass-bottom boat tour or other activities.

Distance covered - no driving today, just a short walk to the beach
Day 5 - Tropic of Capricorn & Shell Beach
Today, venture to the Tropic of Capricorn. Your main stop is Shell Beach, an extraordinary beach composed entirely of white shells, making for dreamy, vibrant landscapes. Despite extensive local use over the years, the shells still cover a 60 km stretch and reach depths of up to 7 meters. In the evening, relax and unwind in the beautiful Shark Bay region.
Stay - Monkey Mia hostel
Distance covered - 6.5-hour drive (600 km), approximately 2 km of walking
Day 6 - Monkey Mia, Shark Bay & Kalbarri National Park
This morning, visit Monkey Mia on the Peron Peninsula, famous for its dolphins that visit the waters. Then, drive along the West Coast down through the spectacular World Heritage Park. Here, you'll see stromatolites, the oldest living organisms on Earth along with an array of lush native flora. Then, head south to Kalbarri National Park where, if time allows, you will stop at Murchison Gorge to enjoy the views from Nature’s Window and the Kalbarri Skywalk!

Distance covered - 5.5 hour drive (470 km), approximately 5 km of walking
Day 7 - Nambung National Park, Pink Lake & Perth
Today, make your way back to Perth with some gorgeous stops along the way! First up is a scenic drive, featuring Western Australia’s stunning and renowned Pink Lake at Port Gregory. Don’t neglect to take a few photos at this unique and striking spot! Journey through the breathtaking coastal gorges of Kalbarri National Park and visit the charming town of Dongara at the Irwin River’s head. Continue to the unique yellow sand dunes and mysterious limestone formations of the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park. After exploring, you'll head to Perth, where this adventure concludes.

What is the recommended fitness level for this trip?
This tour is only suitable for fit and active people. You must be capable of walking 5 to 9 km a day over uneven terrain and in warm temperatures. Some hikes may require sections of walking/swimming through water. We reserve the right to assess the fitness capability of passengers before the tour departure to ensure this trip is right for you.
Are children permitted?
This experience isn't suitable for children. Travellers must be 18+.
What is the weather like?
Temperatures can be extreme on the West Coast; very high during summer days and very cold during winter nights. Please bring suitable clothing for all conditions, and consider the possibility of hiking during hot weather.
Is this tour suitable for my medical condition?
If you have any medical conditions, disabilities, and/or are pregnant, please advise our team upon booking. As this experience takes place in remote areas, medical facilities are not assured and can be difficult to access, and we want to ensure this tour is right for you.
Can my dietary requirements be catered for?
The following dietary requirements can be catered for with appropriate notice:

- No dairy (soy milk provided)
- Vegetarian (additional veg and veggie burgers provided)
- Vegan (supply of additional fruit and veg provided)
- Gluten-free (cereal, bread, wraps, pasta, snack bars, sweet and savoury biscuits provided)

What is the accommodation like?
You will spend this trip in mixed shared dorms in hostels and similar accommodations. All facilities will be available to you. Please note you may be staying in mixed-gender dorms.

- The tour commences in Perth on Day 1 at 7 am and finishes in Perth on day 7 at approximately 6:30 pm.
- A strict luggage limit of 15 kg applies. Please bring a soft-sided bag only.
- The accommodation on this trip is in mixed-gender multi-share hostels.
- This tour is only suitable for travellers ages 18+ with a moderate level of fitness.
- Travellers are required to check their itinerary and trip notes prior to travel in case of any changes.
- Travellers are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance and are completely responsible for selecting an appropriate policy.
- Please notify us upon booking if there are any dietary requirements. Food is prepared in advance and special diets cannot be catered for unless you tell us in advance.
- Itineraries may change due to weather, local conditions, transport schedules, public holidays, or other factors outside of our control.
Cancellations
All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 60 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.
