  • Tour commences in Perth on Day 1 at 7 am and finishes in Perth (Day 10) at approximately 6 pm. Onward travel should be booked for the following day.
  • A strict luggage limit of 15 kg applies. Please bring a soft-sided bag only.
  • The accommodation on this trip is a mix of Hostel – mixed gender multishare and camping in unpowered tents. 
  • This trip requires a sleeping bag.
  • This tour is only suitable for travellers ages 18+ with a moderate level of fitness. 
  • Travellers are required to check their itinerary and trip notes prior to travel in case of any changes.
  • Travellers are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance and are completely responsible for selecting an appropriate policy.
  • Please notify us upon booking if there are any dietary requirements. Food is prepared in advance and special diets cannot be catered for unless you tell us in advance.

What is the accommodation like?

The accommodation on this trip is a mix of hostels (5 nights) and campsites (4 nights). The hostel dorm rooms are mixed gender multishare, and the campsites are unpowered tents in the wilderness.

How much luggage can we bring?

You can bring a soft bag that weight up to 15kg! There is a strict luggage limit, so please don't overpack.

What level of fitness is required?

This is an adventure tour that can include 3-9kms of walking on some days. You should have a moderate level of fitness and be prepared to hike on rough terrain or in hot temperatures. It's all part of the adventure!

What shoes should I bring?

You'll need two pairs of comfortable walking shoes for this tour, preferably one sturdy pair of hiking shoes and one pair of shoes that you don't mind getting wet.

Where does the tour depart from?

The tour departs from Perth at 7am on day 1. The pick-up location is the Tourist Bus Stop on Barrack Square (Next to Pinnacle Tours Office) in Perth.

Can my dietary requirements be catered for?

Dietary requirements may be catered for as long as you notify us in advance. Food is prepared for the trip in advance and special diets cannot be catered for unless you tell us before the tour departs.

Will there be phone and internet access?

Wifi and phone service are limited in the Outback. Popular towns may have signal, but be prepared to lose signal at the remote campsites or hiking trails. Use this as a magical opportunity to disconnect!
