Day 3

Kangaroo Island to Adelaide: bush walks, bird spotting and conservation experience

Start your final day with a morning bush walk near camp. After packing up camp, head to the island's quiet north coast. Explore the lagoon's birdlife and enjoy lunch together, before strolling along American River, spotting various bird species that are abundant in the area. In warmer months, explore caves before reaching Stokes Bay, voted Australia's best beach in 2023 where you can enjoy free time for snorkelling or relaxing. This afternoon, opt to participate in a conservation volunteering activity, like seed collection, wildlife assistance, or a beach clean-up (seasonally chosen). Conclude your adventure with a 5:30 pm ferry to Cape Jervis, returning to Adelaide by 9 pm.
