Day 1 - Travel from Perth to Kalbarri

Starting your adventure bright and early, you'll depart from your selected pick-up point in the morning and begin a guided tour through the stunning Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. Enjoy a delicious seaside lunch at Jurien Bay before embarking on a scenic drive along Indian Ocean Drive, taking in the breathtaking coastal views.

Next, you'll visit one of WA's most iconic destinations, Pink Lake, located just outside of Geraldton. This famous salt lake is a must-see, so don’t forget your camera! Afterward, you and your travel group will head to the seaside town of Kalbarri for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Kalbarri to Monkey Mia

It’s another early start today, but this time it’s for a magical sunrise at either Nature’s Window or the Kalbarri Skywalk. Once the sun has risen, you’ll explore natural wonders like the Z-Bend and Murchison Gorge in Kalbarri National Park. If you’re visiting during spring, keep an eye out for the vibrant wildflowers blooming all around!

Later, you'll continue your journey to the iconic Billabong Roadhouse for lunch (at your own expense) before heading to the World Heritage-listed Shark Bay. Here, you'll have the chance to see the fascinating living fossils known as The Stromatolites. The day wraps up as the group heads to the next stop, Monkey Mia, for a beachside stay!

Day 3 - Monkey Mia to Coral Bay

  • Total driving distance: 580km

What better way to kick off the day than with a wild dolphin experience? Start your morning snapping some once-in-a-lifetime photos with the famous Monkey Mia dolphins, then relax on the beach with a coffee. Soon after, you’ll hit the road again and head to Eagle Bluff, where you can soak in magnificent cliff views, stroll along a beach made entirely of shells, and enjoy a delicious lunch. By the end of the day, you'll settle into your accommodation in Coral Bay, right next to the stunning Ningaloo Reef.


Day 4 - Coral Bay & Ningaloo Reef

Today is all about exploring Australia’s largest fringe reef, Ningaloo Reef. The day is yours to enjoy, whether you choose to relax on Coral Bay’s beautiful beaches, visit a shark nursery, join a glass-bottom boat tour, swim with manta rays (at an extra cost), or snorkel the vibrant reef. After a fun-filled day by the sea, you’ll take a short drive to Exmouth and check into your accommodation for the night.


Day 5 - Ningaloo Reef & Exmouth

  • Total walking distance: 1km (Grade 1-2)
  • Total driving distance: 135km
  • Meals included: Breakfast & Dinner
  • Optional activities: Whaleshark (Mar-Aug) or Megafauna Humpback/Whaleshark (Sep Oct) swim (pre-booking required).

In the morning, you'll head to the breathtaking Cape Range National Park, home to 50 km of pristine beaches, dramatic canyons, and picturesque limestone ranges. Enjoy some relaxation on the beach or opt to snorkel at Turquoise Bay. Your tour will wrap up just in time for lunch, giving you the afternoon free to explore Exmouth, swim in your accommodation’s pool, visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, or even join a whaleshark or humpback swim tour (additional cost).

Day 6 - Exmouth to Geraldton

You’ll check out of your Exmouth accommodation and travel to Carnarvon today, where you’ll visit local banana or mango plantations (seasonal), enjoy a tasty waterfront lunch, and take in the views of Murchison River. A well-deserved refreshment stop for ice cream and coffee will be on the way! Later, you’ll arrive in Geraldton, the final destination of the tour, where you'll check into your accommodation and enjoy a farewell group dinner at The Murchison Tavern.


Day 7 - Geraldton to Perth

It’s the last day of the tour, but the adventure isn’t over yet! Today, you'll take in stunning views of Geraldton from the HMAS Sydney Memorial, stroll along the 3 Bay Walk at Green Head, and explore the sand dunes of Lancelin. What is the recommended fitness level for this tour?

A moderate to advanced level of fitness is required to complete the walks on this tour. The length of walks will be between 2km to 3km each day, often over steep rocky sections and in direct sunlight and high humidity. Embarking on the hikes will be at the guide’s discretion to ensure safety of guests. A doctors certificate is required for people over 70 years (30 days prior to travel). This tour is not suitable for mobility impaired travellers, or passengers who require wheelchairs or walkers.

Can children come on this tour?

Yes, children aged between 6 to 17 years old who are accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times can come on this tour, but must book the private twin rooms version of this tour.

How much luggage can I bring?

There is limited storage space on board the vehicle, so baggage must be kept to 1 x 15kg travel bag and 1 x 5kg day bag. It will not be suitable for passengers who require wheelchairs, walkers or strollers.

Will the itinerary be the same every time?

Itineraries may need to vary, potentially at short notice, depending on the time of year. 

During some seasons, sites in the parks may be closed or might not allow swimming. As safety is the top priority itineraries are planned accordingly to ensure guests have the most fun and best experience possible while on tour.

Who cooks the meals each day?

Meals will be prepared at various campsites and stops along the way. Guests will be asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean up, and vehicle unpacking/loading, so everyone can relax together after a long day touring. It’s also a great way to get to know and connect with your fellow travellers!

Can this tour cater to my dietary requirements?

While the tour operators will endeavor to cater to most dietary needs, you MUST advise us of these at the time of booking. Please also notify us of any food allergies or known medical conditions at the time of booking.

  • The minimum age is 6 years old, but children must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times and must stay in private twin rooms.
  • This trip requires a moderate to advanced level of fitness to as there are a variety of walking trails. Guests should be prepared to hike 2-3kms per day, often over steep, rocky sections and in direct sunlight and high humidity.
  • Please notify us upon booking if there are any dietary requirements. Food is prepared in advance and special diets cannot be catered for unless you tell us in advance.
  • It is also very important that you notify us upon booking of any medical conditions.
  • Guests will be asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean up, and vehicle unpacking/loading so that everyone can relax together after a day of touring.
  • Itineraries may change due to weather, local conditions, transport schedules, public holidays, or other factors outside of our control. A similar alternative will be provided should normal scheduled stops be closed for any reason.

Cancellations

All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 60 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price. 

A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.
