Day 1 - Depart Alice Springs and head to Uluru
Embark on a thrilling journey into the heart of the Australian Outback! The tour departs Alice Springs at 6am, or you can choose to be picked up at Ayers Rock Airport around 1pm later that day. Once the whole group is ready to go, spend the afternoon exploring Uluru on a guided walk. Watch the sunset over the famous landmark with a glass of sparkling wine before having dinner and a hot shower at camp. Spend the night camping in a cosy swag under the desert stars!
Day 2 - Uluru sunrise and Kata Tjuta
Wake up early today and have some breakfast to fuel up for another day of magical Outback experiences! Head to Kata Tjuta, where you can view the tranquil sunrise over Uluru. Then hike through the majestic rocky landscape of the Valley of the Winds and have a picnic lunch.
Spend the afternoon travelling through the rich desert landscapes of the Red Centre before setting up camp at Kings Creek Station. Here you can feast on an Aussie BBQ dinner, socialise by the warmth of the campfire, and stargaze!
Day 3 - Kings Canyon Rim Walk
See more natural wonders of the Outback with a trip to Kings Canyon. Today you’ll start with another early breakfast and then take on the iconic Kings Canyon Rim Walk! This is one of the most incredible Outback hikes. Marvel at steep canyons and rugged rock formations, and have the chance to relax in the serene oasis known as the Garden of Eden.
Have a midday rest and lunch break at Kings Creek Station, then head to Curtin Springs Station, where you will spend your final night. Soak in your last desert sunset with views of Mt. Conner and celebrate an amazing Outback trip with dinner and more stargazing.
Day 4 - Return to Alice Springs or Ayers Rock Airport
Today you can enjoy a nice sleep in followed by a hearty cooked breakfast. Stop for one last photo of Uluru before heading out. Those jumping off at Ayers Rock Airport will arrive around 10am, and those returning to Alice Springs will arrive in the late afternoon.

What level of fitness is required?
A moderate level of fitness is required for this tour! There are some long walks and hikes outside in the wilderness, often in hot and sunny weather. Everyone is also asked to help with daily tasks like wood collecting and cooking as well.
Where and when does the tour start and finish?
You can choose to start and finish the tour at either Alice Springs or Ayers Rock Airport. Depart/return times are as follows:
- From Alice Springs: 6am departure on Day 1, late afternoon return on Day 4
- From Ayers Rock Airport: 1pm departure on Day 1, 10am return on Day 4
What is the accommodation like?
This tour includes swag camping in the Outback wilderness! A sleeping bag is required. You can bring your own or hire one at checkout.

What type of clothes should we bring?
Comfortable layers are the best clothes to wear in the Outback! You’ll spend most of your time outside, and this tour includes lots of walks. Bring comfy active wear and sun protection. Hiking shoes are also ideal.
Temperatures can drop in the desert during nights and mornings, so bring some warmer layers as well.
What is the transport like?
You will travel around the Outback in an air-conditioned bus that seats 21-24 guests.
