Day One: Travel to Uluru and Kata Tjuta

Day One: Travel to Uluru and Kata Tjuta
Starting your tour in Alice Springs, meet your tour guide and fellow adventurers before setting off for Uluru! Hop aboard the all-terrain vehicle and head to Australia's largest rock. The drive to Uluru takes around 5 hours* which gives you plenty of time to get to know your new friends and tour guide! As you near Uluru, you will be blown away by the size of the monstrous rock!
Enjoy lunch while you soak in the beauty of Uluru before heading to Kata Tjuta (The Olga's). Kata Tjuta is about an hour's* drive away from Yulura where you can admire the vastness of the Red Centre along the way! Wander through the 36 various-sized domes and enjoy an afternoon hike where your guide will tell you all about the spiritual history of this incredible spot. As the evening sets in, head back to Uluru where your camp is awaiting your arrival. Indulge in a delicious dinner with your newfound friends, followed by stargazing if the weather permits!
Day Two: Spend the day at Uluru
Day two has an early rise, but trust us, it's worth waking up early! You'll be rewarded with an incredible sunrise over Uluru. The sun rays will light up the rock and the surroundings so be sure to have your camera ready! After sunrise you can enjoy breakfast admiring the view before visiting one of Uluru's significant cultural sites. You can walk the full base of the rock, getting up close to take in the unique textures and valleys.
After lunch, visit the Cultural Centre where you can purchase a souvenir, hand-crafted by local First Nation Peoples of the Western and Central Deserts. You'll be sleeping at an exclusive campsite near the Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon) where you will also have dinner and do some more stargazing!
Day Three: Kings Canyon and back to Alice Springs
On your final day, you'll spend more time soaking in the beauty of Kings Canyon - a large gorge enclosed by tall rock walls. Explore its deep gullies, hidden rock pools and unique sandstone. Your guide will take you to see the most famous locations such as the Garden of Eden, the Amphitheatre, and the Lost City. Enjoy one last meal before heading back to Alice Springs (a 5 hour* car journey) where you'll say your farewells!

Important Information
- Trip commences in Alice Springs and finishes in Alice Springs day 3 at approx 6pm.
- This tour may also be booked with a departure from Yulara and return to Alice Springs.
- For the Kings Canyon Rim Walk it is a requirement that you have a minimum of 3 litres of water with you. Please consider bringing your own refillable water bottles.
- To get the most out of this trip you need to be prepared for walks of between 3-9 km on some days.
- There is a STRICT LUGGAGE LIMIT of 15kgs per person, in a backpack or soft bag.
- Your pick-up may be from the Yulara Airport or the Desert Gardens Hotel, this will depend on your flight arrival time.
Cancellations
All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 60 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.
