Day One: Darwin to Kakadu National Park
Meet your guide and fellow traveller's in Darwin this morning, ready to begin your 300km journey out to Kakadu National Park. Make a few pit stops along the way, drinking in scenery and tropical summer weather. Pass through the Wetlands Region and Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve where you'll see a wide variety of native birds and wildlife, some found only in Australia's Northern Territory. Drive through to the town of Jabiru where you'll enjoy a picnic lunch and admire the local indigenous art, before arriving at Cooinda Lodge, your luxury outback accommodations for the night. Spend the afternoon relaxing, maybe cool off with refreshing swim in the retreat pool. This evening, jump onboard Kakadu's famous Yellow Water Cruise for a beautiful two-hour sunset tour. Back at the lodge, you'll be treated to an incredible three-course exclusive dining experience prepared by Cooinda's culinary team, giving you an introduction to the tastes of the Northern Territory.

Day Two: Kakadu National Park to Darwin
Today gives you the option for an early start to make the most of your time in this stunning UNESCO World-Heritage Listed region. Hike to Burrungkuy's Nawurlandja lookout to witness the sunrise over the expansive Outback landscape. After working up an appetite, enjoy a hearty breakfast nearby, before setting off on a guided tour to see Burrungkuy's rock art walls, some of the most notable in all of Australia. check out of your accommodations around mid-morning and head to the Warradjan Cultural Centre for a hands-on art experience delivered by local Aboriginal community members and traditional owners of the lands. View the indigenous art gallery showcasing mesmerising artworks. Fuel up for the journey back to Darwin with a picnic lunch amongst lush tropical surroundings. Say goodbye to the Kakadu National Park and the Australian Outback for the 300km drive back to the city. Arrive back into Darwin around 6pm, where you'll farewell your tour guide and new found travel companions.
